THE ONE PIANO PLAYER CHALLENGE
Let’s find out what we can accomplish together! Our next school-wide challenge – The One Piano Player Challenge – begins on Saturday, February 4th! This challenge will run for 12 weeks, and throughout these 12 weeks we will be focusing on TEAMWORK! The rules are very simple. For each week, your classroom teacher will award points to your class based on:
  • Homework completion.
  • Overall class participation and engagement.
  • Effort invested into playing and singing together as a group (like there is only ONE PIANO PLAYER in the room!)
  • Overall progress week after week.
  • Parent participation/engagement during class. (Parents should participate too!)
Teachers will award a total of 10 points per class each week. To receive 10 points, your class must show excellent progress from week to week. Teachers will also be permitted to award up to 5 BONUS POINTS throughout the challenge for weeks where classes show EXCEPTIONAL progress.
Classes that earn 100+ points before the end of the challenge will be treated to peanut and tree nut-free cupcakes at the end of the challenge!
Participation in this challenge is optional. Each class will decide as a group whether they would like to sign up.
PLEASE NOTE: Individual students are welcome to participate as well! Please ask your teacher about the modified challenge rules.
